What does an increase in foreign investment mean for farmers in Iowa? IowaWatch Connection, a statewide radio program, dug into the issue of foreign investment and food security.

On the program, the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting’s Johnathan Hettinger and Brant Houston discussed the center’s recent reporting on foreign investment in farmland.

Also featured on this week’s episode of the show were Senator Chuck Grassley (R. – Iowa), former U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary and Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack and Neil Hamilton, a professor at Drake University in Iowa.
