Student journalists from the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa, Simpson College, Buena Vista University and Loras College saw first-hand the Iowa presidential precinct caucuses that drew worldwide attention the night of Feb. 1, 2016.

They covered the caucuses for the first time in their young careers for an IowaWatch/college media caucus reporting project that produced stories for IowaWatch.org, the website Caucus.IowaWatch.org and, in some cases, publications or broadcast stations on their campuses.
