IowaWatch High School Journalism Projects Featured By Columbia Journalism Review

The 2018 IowaWatch/Tiger Hi-Line project is part of a Science in the Media project in which IowaWatch and UNI are collaborating.
“More than any one-off accomplishments that may be credited to IowaWatch’s name, the success of its high school programming speaks to the growing necessity for initiatives that raise media literacy among young Americans,” Fields writes in the article.
Later, he notes: “What seems exceptional about IowaWatch is the empowering chain of mentorship it affords without instruction getting in the way.”
